Artists’ Careers, Portfolios & Websites
Welcome, Artist!
You’re probably a graduating senior in the School of Art at Long Beach State University. Or perhaps you’re a former student coming back for a few tips. Or you’ve never attended LBSU but stumbled onto this site in search of some career help.
However you landed here, welcome! Here are some tools and activities to help you build your art career. I hope artists anywhere can use these materials to assemble a compelling portfolio and a comprehensive career plan.
The materials are structured to fit LBSU’s 15-week semester schedule. As a student or non-student, you can also complete the steps faster or slower as suits your circumstances.
If there’s a resource you’d like that you don’t find here, let me know and I’ll add it: glenn.zucman@csulb.edu
