Critique Week

After a semester of thinking about your career and assembling your portfolio, let’s see what your classmates have been up to and offer some feedback.

We all love a pat on the back and being told that someone likes our work. So, feel free to be nice to each other! 😀

However, the most helpful feedback is sharing ways to improve our portfolios. Flagging things that are unclear. Ideas that could be stronger. Navigation that could be easier.

Please scroll down and make sure:

  1. There’s a link to your Portfolio Website here
  2. The URL is correct
  3. Your name is spelled correctly/listed as you prefer
  4. The title/topic I listed for you is what you want

Classmate Feedback

From this page, please pick 4 classmates (from either section) and review their portfolio websites.

  1. Make a new Page or Blog Post on your Portfolio Website
  2. Look over your classmate’s portfolio
  3. List 3 things that are really working on the website
  4. List 3 suggestions to make the portfolio stronger, clearer, or more compelling
  5. You can write up all four classmates on one page. Put their name and a link to their Portfolio Website above your feedback for them.
  6. Use each classmate’s Contact Page to send them the URL for your feedback page.
  7. Go to Canvas and paste the URL for your feedback page in the Canvas URL box.

Connect!

While you’re at their portfolio, connect with your classmates on social media!

Connect to everyone on Instagram & LinkedIn. And any other relevant platforms.
